How We Began
It was apparent that the people we were serving needed more than impactful information given to them about God—they needed to learn how to discover God themselves. The focus became to equip pastoral and collegiate leadership with tools to accurately interpret the Word so they would be able to communicate what they had discovered to those in their care.
Ancient Promise Ministries has grown into a body of people committed to the call to establish the kingdom of Jesus Christ on the earth. We join God in His purposes by equipping others to discover Him, know Him through His Word, and live as testimonies of His love and mercy to those around them.
We partner with pastors, churches, denominations and mission organizations to reach immigrant people groups living in the United States and in villages and cities abroad.
In 2023, we changed our name to Ancient Promise International.
What We Believe
What We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the source for all we need for spiritual life.
We believe that the Bible is the primary source that the Holy Spirit uses to bring about soul transformation in the life of the believer in Jesus Christ.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that His death and our trust in its atoning power is the only means by which we are saved.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as both Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whom the indwelled Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe that the power and the biblical usage of the gifts of the Spirit should be evidenced in the church today.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ, and the evidence of that unity being demonstrated by how we love one another.
